Short introduction of the participants TTNM Men 2024
Fredi is once again the favorite at the 5th TTNM. Frederik has been playing consistently in the third division team of TSV Schwarzenbek for years and is one of the best players in the north. In his youth, Frederik was ranked among the 12 best players in Germany, in 2019 he became North German men's champion by beating his long-time teammate Hartmut Lohse and in 2020 he won the bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the German Championships alongside Vivien Scholz.
Ali is one of the most famous players in northern Germany. He plays for Füchse Berlin in the 3rd Bundesliga and has a number of successes to his name: Ali is a three-time Berlin singles champion, four-time North German singles runner-up, has taken part in the German men's championships seven times, came third in the Turkish singles championships and is a seven-time Berlin men's ranking winner.
After a year in France, Hartmut is now playing in the 3rd Bundesliga again, in Borsum. The Schleswig-Holstein native is once again one of the favorites this year and we are looking forward to the likeable attacking player.
Heye plays for Oldenburger TB in the 3rd Bundesliga and has great potential. In his youth, Heye was one of the best players in Lower Saxony and the north. With his good results, Heye can also be expected to do well in the TTNM this year.
Lars helped TTC Algesdorf to promotion to the Regional League with a sensational 35:1 record in the top pairs of the Oberliga and was one of the top players in Lower Saxony for years. Then he withdrew a little and concentrated on his job as a coach. Now he wants to attack again at TTNM. Welcome, Lars.
Dwain has been a well-known player in table tennis for many years. He has not only been a star in "normal" table tennis for years and is one of the top players in Central Germany and Lower Saxony, he has also won the German Clickball Championship twice. We are looking forward to meeting the likeable left-hander.
Cristian is 20 years old and played for the Danish first division team Hörning. He has now moved to the Füchse Berlin in the 3rd Bundesliga North. The attacking player has been one of Denmark's best young players for years and has managed to join the top of the men's team. We can look forward to interesting games.
Dominykas is the Danish Youth 19 Champion and is currently ranked 51st in the Youth 19 World Ranking. He played for Roskilde in the Danish 1st League, is right-handed and an uncompromising attacker. Last year, Dominykas played strongly at the TTNM and made more than a statement. He is a force to be reckoned with!
Dmytro played a strong regional league season and helped SC Poppenbüttel to stay in the top pairings. Dima is now a permanent member of the TTNM. The likeable Ukrainian has been living in Germany for some time and is thinking of his friends and family in his home country. We are happy that Dmytro can be part of it again.
After a season in the 2nd Bundesliga with Worms-Leiselheim, Chris has now returned to the Füchse in Berlin in the 3rd league. Last year, Chris started in the TTNM for the first time and reached the final straight away, where he lost to Ali. We are excited to see if he can do just as well this year in the strong field.
Martin plays for TSV Lunestedt, with whom he was unfortunately relegated from the regional league last season, somewhat surprisingly. We assume that the likeable team will soon be back on the up, as the players were one of the better regional league teams in previous years. If Martin is in good form, he can be up there. Excitement is guaranteed.
Matti is the second representative of TSV Lunestedt and is taking part in the Nordmasters for the second time. The Lunestedt veteran has been one of the most consistent players in the Regionalliga Nord for years and has mostly had positive records. The former Lower Saxony champion and ranking winner has set his team a direct return to promotion and is looking forward to the Nordmasters.
Johan is also a member of the Danish U21 national team and was nominated for the Nordmasters by the national coach. In the coming season, Johan will play for Amager BTK in the Danish Elite Division, the highest Danish league. So far, the Danish players have been very convincing at the Nordmasters and we are looking forward to another strong young player from Denmark.
Laurin has established himself at SV Siek and, with his good performances, is a permanent member of SV Siek's regional league squad. The youth player has consistently improved in recent years and there is still room for improvement. With skill and a bit of luck, Laurin can at least prevail in the group matches and then perhaps anything is possible?
For years, Til has been one of the best players in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In the coming season, the always cheerful and always fair player will play for SV Siek in the regional league. We are happy that Til is back.
Lasse has been the top player for the Preetzer TSV top division team for years and is also one of the best top division players. The material player will be able to make things difficult for one or two opponents in this high-class field and we are looking forward to some good games.
Kaito is one of the most promising young talents from Thuringia. Thanks to a cooperation with the Thuringian TT Association, Kaito is competing in the TTNM for the first time. With his team, SV Schott Jena, Kaito has been promoted to the regional league. With his 5th place in the Top 48 of the J19 youth class, Kaito has moved up to the top of the German juniors. We are looking forward to the young attacking player.
